Chouchou is a French term of affection, and it is very fitting for such a loving, trusting kitty. 

Chouchou was rescued, like so many other abandoned pets, from the street looking for food and a safe human to help her so she didn't become a statistic.  We fell in love immediately with this gentle soul.  Chouchou purred on rescue day and has been a delight in her foster home with excellent house guest manners, a gentle purr and a charming couch companion. We have learned that this affectionate soul prefers people over cats, so we are looking for a home where she can be the only cat.
