This litter of EIGHT pups were born in Paw Placement foster and have been healthy and loved from day 1! Mom is about 25 pounds and looks like a miniature black lab. Dad is unknown but we know he must have been large breed based on the size of the pups. We're guessing they'll be 4-50 pounds full grown, though they may be larger.

These pups are currently about 10-12 pounds at 2 months old, and are energetic, playful, affectionate and sweet.

A note from foster mom: Gem is the only black female. If you look close you will see that she is actually has a dark brown coat, not black. Like her brother Gnocchi, she is a player and and big cuddler.

Please note: socializing dogs, especially young dogs, is critical to their development. Puppies need to have positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, dogs on a WEEKLY basis to ensure they do not grow into insecure, fearful or even aggressive adult dogs. Please consider this when adopting during this pandemic. Socialization is currently more difficult, but it isn't any less important, so please be sure you can fulfill this need in a new dog before committing to adopt.
