I'm Sassafras and I sure am happy to be safe and warm.  My foster mom says I like to eat in peace because I was so hungry when I was found I want to be sure no one is going to take my plate away before I finish.  Don't feel bad though, I'm getting used to lots of food and my soft bed.  I was fostered with other cats and a dog, so I consider myself pretty social.   

Did you know that folklore attributes tortie coloring with good luck?  The volunteers tell me they agree so I feel pretty special. I'm at the adoption center looking out the windows, waiting for my new home.  Meow for now!
