Hi, it’s me, Acorn!  I was found outside, and a sweet lady would leave food outside for me.  She noticed I was very friendly, rubbing up against her dog, so she reached out to Paw Placement to help get me inside, where I’m safe!  Now that I’ve been living at my foster mom’s house, I know what the comfort of living inside is like, and I will never go back!  I do love looking outside, so hopefully my future home has a couch or a cat tree by a window for me to look out.  I’ve really enjoyed my foster mom working from home, so I get attention all day!  I love to be pet or to just sit quietly next to my foster mom, and I love the delicious seafood flavored cat food she’s been feeding me!  I also love laser pointers and wand toys, anything that has us play together!  I’m a talker too, I make these cute little chirp sounds.  Since I’m new to the indoor life, I can be a little nervous around new people, so please give me patience as I warm up to this new world.  Vacuums also really scare me, but that shouldn’t be a surprise, they’re too loud and move so quickly.  I haven’t spent time indoors with another cat or dog, but with a slow, proper introduction, I think I’d like a friend!  I did like saying hi to the neighborhood dog where I was found.
