The Soda Pop Pups were born in a Paw Placement foster home after their momma, Shasta, was rescued from a life living outside, birthing litter after litter, in northern AZ. These puppies have experienced nothing but love during their lifetime and are, therefore, friendly, confident and happy babies!

These pups will be ready for adoption on January 5, 2021.

Sprite loves to play and he loves to cuddle! He's playful, silly, affectionate, intelligent, energetic and outgoing. Sprite looks very much like a shepherd mix and is likely a combination of many different breeds. Momma Shasta has a short, soft coat like a lab, and likely has some herding breed in her; she weighs about 60 pounds. Dad is unknown. These pups require a home with a yard; they are not appropriate for an apartment/condo setting.

A note from foster mom: Desprite (like despite lol) being the second smallest in the litter, Sprite is definitely the biggest cuddle bug of the bunch... I swear he actually enjoys being cradled in my arms like a baby. He isn’t a clingy little guy though, he’ll happily go off and explore with the other pups and create puppy mischief just as puppies do. But, when he’s ready to settle down, 90% of the time he ends up by my side trying to snuggle his way on top of me... he often falls asleep, once I give in and finally let him make a bed out of my lap.

Please note: socializing dogs, especially young dogs, is critical to their development. Puppies need to have positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, dogs on a WEEKLY basis to ensure they do not grow into insecure, fearful or even aggressive adult dogs. Please consider this when adopting during this pandemic. Socialization is currently more difficult, but it isn't any less important, so please be sure you can fulfill this need in a new dog before committing to adopt.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. Because we are still understaffed due to COVID19, we will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application.
