Sedona began her life in a small town in northern AZ and was surrendered to a shelter there at 6 months old when her owners realized she was too much dog for their household. Luckily for Sedona, the shelter worked hard to network her and she was welcomed in the Paw Placement family in Phoenix, where her chances of finding the perfect forever home quadrupled!

Sedona is a sweet and energetic young girl. She is a working breed and therefore is highly intelligent and high energy. She is playful with her doggy foster siblings of all sizes, and would very much prefer to go home with a doggy playmate or two. Sedona has adjusted to city life well, however, she will not do well in a low activity household - she needs to run and play, hike and walk, and use her noggin to learn new skills and tricks. Sedona is crate and house trained in her foster home. She is not appropriate for an apartment type setting, she requires a house with a yard.

Sedona has become best friends with her foster brother, Beckham, who is also adoptable. These two really balance each other's energies; they spend equal time running, romping, playing and snoozing or chewing antlers. If you're looking for two intelligent, energetic dogs, they might just be the pair for you!

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. Because we expect a large number of applications, and are still understaffed due to COVID19, we will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application.
