Lady Marmalade was found in a secured backyard, where she'd been tossed over the block wall. Attached to the exterior gate was a hastily scrawled note that read, "My name is Bobo, I need a home."

Despite having been let down so cruelly and coldly by her previous humans, our little Lady is a loving and gentle soul. Though it, of course, took her a few days to feel comfortable, safe and begin to trust again, Marmalade has bounced back in a huge way!

Marmalade loves to cuddle with her humans, first and foremost. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and is beginning to play with her foster siblings. She doesn't seem to know what toys or chews are, but she sure does love her breakfast and dinner! Marmalade likes her crate, and finds comfort and security there when she's uncertain. She's also house trained in her foster home, and has been an absolute angel inside the home.

A note from foster mom: She will use both her paws at the same time to pull my hand far enough off my lap so she can rub against it to get me to pet her. She does not understand the concept of a leash or walk (yet!). Spinning in a circle is her go to happy dance!
