Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Male (neutered)
John Wayne came to us with his buddy, Sundance. They were dumped in a business parking lot in November and spent the winter outdoors, very scared and confused. They lived under cars to try to stay warm and avoid predators. Hunger drove them to a feeding station set up for feral cats, but it was obvious these boys were once loved, indoor pets. John Wayne LOVES to perch up high, and he was very fond of hunting in the old days, so he would love a tall kitty tree. He loves to get very close and lean up against you. We think he's going to make a great couch buddy and dining companion. This cowboy's days of living on the range are over, so please commit to keeping his safely indoors. Wayne is very smart and understands how a door operates, so we recommend no small children who are not old enough to be careful. John Wayne seems to get along well with other kitties and takes their presence in stride. We aren't sure how he feels about dogs, but he's a confident kitty who would probably do fine with a respectful pup. John Wayne and Sundance hung up their hats and bachelor days, and are ready to meet their families at our PetSmart adoption center.
