Biscotti came to us via our rescue partners in Page, AZ. Very little is known about his background other than that he landed at a shelter at 7 weeks of age. Because we know neither parent, his breed is difficult to even speculate on, but shepherd mix is a likely guess. Biscotti came to us quite scared and timid, but he's blossoming in his foster home due to the trust he feels for his furry foster siblings and lots of socialization. He even met some dog savvy kids, aged 3, 7 and 8, and he adored them! This pup is playful and energetic, affectionate and eager to please. Biscotti is looking for a home with another balanced adult dog, likely a female. This is a requirement for his forever home!

Biscotti is working on mastering his crate and house training, and will need continued training in his forever home including crate, house and potty training, and lots of continued socialization. Biscotti is not appropriate for an apartment setting, he requires a house with a yard.

Please note: socializing dogs, especially young dogs, is critical to their development. Puppies need to have positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, dogs on a WEEKLY basis to ensure they do not grow into insecure, fearful or even aggressive adult dogs. Please consider this when adopting during this pandemic. Socialization is currently more difficult, but it isn't any less important, so please be sure you can fulfill this need in a new dog before committing to adopt.
