Cinder came to us via some wonderful rescuers in northern AZ. She was a reservation dog, and most dogs from the rez are herding breeds, so we suspect she's some mix of shepherd, cattle dog and collie, likely mixed with a few other breeds for good measure.

Cinder is affectionate and sweet, friendly and outgoing, playful and energetic. She's learning to love the good life - she enjoys taking a dip in the kiddie pool, chomping on antlers and nylabones, and romping with her furry foster siblings. Cinder is mastering her house training in her foster home and is doing very well - she's a smart pup who wants to please her people! She's also going on walks with her foster family and learning her leash skills.

Please note: socializing dogs, especially young dogs, is critical to their development. Puppies need to have positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, dogs on a WEEKLY basis to ensure they do not grow into insecure, fearful or even aggressive adult dogs. Please consider this when adopting during this pandemic. Socialization is currently more difficult, but it isn't any less important, so please be sure you can fulfill this need in a new dog before committing to adopt.

Cinder is looking for a home with a yard, and would love to find a forever home with a playful doggie sibling. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.
