Triscuit was born as a stray to a feral mom on a reservation in northern AZ. The family was living in an abandoned shed, and being fed by a neighbor who, one at a time, caught the puppies and brought them to the shelter. Triscuit's brother, Ritz, was caught at about 3 months old and went into a Paw Placement foster home. Nearly 2 months later, Triscuit was finally captured and reunited with her brother. Triscuit is now enjoying the life of a pampered Paw Placement foster pup!

Triscuit is submissive and shy, due in large part to her isolation in the early months of her life. Luckily though, she was never mistreated and she loves people and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is proving to be a smart girl who picks up quickly on her training, including her house and potty training. She is a medium energy girl who very much enjoys the company of other dogs and we'd prefer to place her in a home with a doggie sibling or two. She is ok with children, but we will only place her in a home with children over 7 due to her skittish nature.
