Bruiser and his siblings were born in a loving Paw Placement foster home about a week after his momma came to us via some exceptional rescuers in northern AZ. Momma, now named Maci, was pregnant at nine months old and living outside, and her owners decided to surrender her to give her and her puppies a chance at a better life. And oh, what a life they've had! Born Thanksgiving Eve, these 4 babies and their momma have been loved and spoiled over the last two months. These babies are happy and healthy, well socialized and friendly, affectionate and playful. They live with adult dogs of all sizes, and would love to go to a forever home with a doggie playmate or two. Maci is a border collie mix of some type, while dad must be a very large dog - by the looks of the pups, we guess maybe bernese mountain dog or similar? - because all 4 pups are large breed. A note from Bruiser's foster mom: Bruiser, initially named Pinky because he was the littlest, quickly wowed his foster family and convinced them to change his name. He is shorter and stockier than his sisters, and there is no obstacle he won't plow right through. Put a water bowl in his path, and he's more apt to walk through it than around it. He is also "momma's boy," a little bit of a wuss, and a huge cuddler. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.
