Boris was found wandering in a remote neighborhood. His rescuers were relieved they found him before a hawk, owl or coyote did. He was so thin and cold, they rushed him to a vet and, though he was deemed healthy, if a bit thin, the vet found a microchip. After a call to his owner, his rescuers heartbrokenly surrendered him to us. His humans no longer wanted him, and had no explanation for why he was found where he was. Though our hearts break for the newly crowned Boris, as his microchip indicates he's been with one owner since he was a puppy, he has moved on in a big way! Boris is a fun loving and affectionate guy! He loves to go for walks and shortish hikes, romp in the snow, play with his toys and with his doggie friends. And Boris loves nothing more than cuddling up with his humans, wrapped in a warm sweater, belly full because he enjoys his food! Oh, and he has no teeth, which doesn't slow down his eating (kibble) one bit! Boris is crate and mostly house trained in his foster home, and he's good about waking his humans up to go outside should they allow him the privilege of sleeping in the bed.
