Copper and two other puppies were found in the desert, over 10 miles from the nearest home. Due to the remote location and coyote activity in the area, it is believed they were found quickly by some kind folks ATVing in the desert. After a search for owners, these babies were brought to Paw Placement.

Copper is now enjoying the good life in his foster home. Though he was initially shy, Copper has blossomed in the care of a loving family. Copper is playful, goofy, vocal, affecionate, smart, eager to please, submissive and energetic. Copper is looking for a forever home that is experienced with hunting or working breeds. He would also very much prefer to be placed in a home with a doggie playmate. Copper is scared of cats, but living peacefully in a home with 4. Copper will not be placed in an apartment or condo - this boy needs a yard. Copper is working on his crate and house training in his foster home and, unsurprisingly for this smart boy, he's catching on fast! As with all pups, he'll require lots of continued training in his forever home including crate, house and potty training, and socialization.

If you are interested in adding Copper to your forever family, please complete an adoption application. We anticipate a large number of applications and, therefore, will only be able to reach out to those folks who are a match. Thank you for your understanding.
