Boxer (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Large
Donut was found tied up in a remote area of the desert. Despite this shocking betrayal by humans, this girl couldn't love humans more! Donut is a sweet and loving girl who holds no resentment towards the species that treated her so badly. Our vet estimates that Donut is just a year old and appears to be a purebred boxer. Donut is now recovering well from her ordeal, cozy and comfy in a loving Paw Placement foster home. Donut lives with two large dogs, a small senior dog and cats, and does very well with everyone. She is respectful and patient with the cats, as well as with the senior dog. And she loves to wrestle and play rough with the big dogs. Donut was most definitely an outside dog before coming to us. She was initially fearful of everything inside the home - the ceiling fan caused a minor meltdown the first time she saw it - and hates being left alone outside for even a moment. This sweet, gentle soul was clearly neglected in her last life, and we are determined to ensure she'll be cherished and loved for the rest of her days! Donut loves to snuggle, and she has the cutest, wiggliest boxer bum we've seen in a while! Donut is crate and house trained in her foster home. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. Donut will be ready for adoption in mid October.
