Ruby was abandoned at a managed feral cat colony but she is not feral. She was so scared that she would hide under and behind the colony’s caregiver when she came to feed. The caregiver brought her inside to be fostered. Ruby blossomed in her care.
Ruby went to a different foster home and was very stressed at the move The new foster mom had met Ruby at her previous foster home so she knew she was really a loving and playful kitty.
After about a week and a half in the new foster home, Ruby was once again a loving and playful kitty. Because Ruby takes a while to adjust to change, it was decided to leave her in foster while she waits for an adopter.
Ruby needs an adopter who can be patient with a stressed cat until her true loving self shines through and they have a wonderful new family member.
If you are interested in Ruby, please fill out an online application at PawPlacement.org and a meet and greet will be set up.
