Jeter, his siblings and his mom are reservation dogs from Page, AZ. Lucky for this family, some amazing rescuers came to their rescue when they were dumped. With the help of a wonderful team of rescuers, this family made its way to Paw Placement and is now in a loving and nurturing foster home.

Jeter's breed is a mystery. Mom appears to be a yellow lab mix of about 65 pounds, while dad is unknown. Jeter's coat and disposition reminds all of us of a golden retriever, though he could certainly be a mix of many other breeds.

Jeter is fun, playful, friendly, affectionate and smart. He is looking for an active home who can dedicate the time and energy to training a rambunctious young puppy. He will needs lots of patient training in his forever home including crate, house and potty training and, perhaps most importantly, lots of socialization to ensure he grows into a well balanced and well behaved adult dog.

A note from foster mom: Morgan, Cy, and Jeter love attention, and are very sweet when soliciting it. They get so overwhelmed with excitement, sometimes even whimpering a little with joy. Jeter is the most likely one to get accidentally stepped on or have the door closed on him simply because he’s always one step behind you... sometimes even less than that. Morgan, Cy, and Jeter care more about humans than toys or food (at least for now) and these three also happen to be the biggest cry babies of the bunch.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. We expect to receive a very large number of applications for this litter, therefore, we will only be able to reach out to approved applicants when it is time to schedule meet and greets. Thank you for your understanding.
