Chewie lived with his loving mom in a nursing home until she became too ill to care for him. He was well loved by everyone in the nursing home, and served as a sort of therapy dog while there.

Chewie is a sweet and loving little guy. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new places with his humans, and his favorite place is on his human's lap. He tolerates other dogs and is respectful of cats though, in the short time we've had him, we haven't yet seen him engage in any play with his furry foster siblings. As time goes on, he gets more comfortable and begins to bond, this may change. He is crate and house trained in his foster home.

According to our groomer, Chewie is likely a yorkie mix and will require grooming every 4-8 weeks. He does not shed.
