Shane and his siblings were being given away for free online, listed as German Shepherd and Dachshund mixes. A kind soul who understood this spelled trouble for any dog snatched all 3 puppies up and got them into rescue.

Shane is now a loving foster home with lots of furry friends. He is great with other dogs, and we'd love to place him in a home with a doggie playmate. He is rambunctious and spunky puppy who needs an active home with strong leadership. As a young puppy, he would do well with children, as well. Though we can't know how big he will be, our guess is anywhere between 55-75 pounds.

Shane is active, energetic, playful, eager to please and affectionate. He loves to romp with his doggie friends, chew on bones and antlers, and especially cuddle with his humans (his foster describes him as a cuddly lovebug). He is mastering his crate and potty training in her foster home. As with all young puppies, he will require lots of continued training in her forever home including crate, house and potty training and, perhaps most importantly, lots of continued socialization.
