Cherish was surrendered to Paw Placement by an owner who realized she was too young and energetic for their home. Cherish has already been rehomed several times during her short 8 months, and one of those homes was none too kind to her, creating a fear of boots and an initial wariness of certain men. At only 8 months, however, Cherish is still very pliable, and the socialization and confidence building she is receiving in her foster home will help her feel safe and secure. Cherish is crate and nearly house trained in her foster home. She adores other small dogs and we would prefer to place her in a home with another dog to help her to feel more secure.
