From Victoria???s rescuer and foster:, Victoria was found at night sitting in a water filled gutter. I thought she was dead but then she lifted her head. I scooped her up and took her home. It was then I noticed none of her legs worked at all totally unable to move. Took her to vet and X-rays and steroids revealed broken leg in process of healing and swelling that responded to steroids. She regained motion on left side and was spinning, crawling in circles. A day later noted a huge hernia on side. After 2 weeks of strict crating to let leg heal I then started working with her and she now walks and runs perfectly. Fur growing back in as shaved on half her body and gaining weight! The only deficit is no vision in right eye but it looks normal. She now turns her head to follow objects and has been great with litter box as soon as she regained mobility. I never expected her to survive night one and vet never thought she would make it either and each morning happy to hear her yelling for food. Someone put her there and must have known I would find her as by a feral feeding area. Looks like she was thrown or squished due to no puncture wounds but extreme swelling and broken leg . She is very sweet when held and when down runs pell mell with a 4 pound chi!
