Buttercup has a sad story, but we want to focus on the positive! This sweet Tortie is grateful to be alive and adores people. She was in a loving Paw Placement foster home and her foster family reports that she was very sweet and had impeccable kitty manners. Her foster family said she was great with the kids as young as 18 mos old. All cats do best with slow introductions to resident pets, and Buttercup is no different. We think she would blossom in a home with other pets to keep her company, but she seems totally content to be alone with a nice human. , Adult cats often take FIVE times as long to find a home than kittens, so please consider those statistics if you think an adult kitty would be a good fit in your home. Buttercup would appreciate your consideration and guarantees years of purring the day away.
