Great Dane / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Large Black/White Great Dane/Mastiff
Louie, previously Norman, was returned to Paw Placement due to a family trauma. Louie was adopted from Paw Placement as a baby, and lived a wonderful life with humans who adored him and his doggie sister. Though this separation from his family was difficult, Louie is a wonderful boy and has bounced back well. Louie is living in a loving Paw Placement foster home, romping and playing with his many doggie foster siblings. Louie is smart, friendly, affectionate, well-mannered in the home (he doesn't get on the couch or bed), good with dogs of all sizes, great with kids and very loving with his humans. Louie has had formal training and knows sit, down, stay, and place, and is treadmill trained. Louie is house and crate trained; he can be left out of the crate in the home unattended, but is also comfortable spending the day in his crate. His previous owners also donated his crate, and we'd be happy to pass that on to his new family should they need it. Louie's one vice is that he is leash reactive (when he sees a dog on his walk, he barks and pulls on the leash). Oh, and he likes to roll in dead grass, which means that he's often bringing it all inside - but he doesn't get on the couch, so at least it stays on the floor! ;-) Louie is a great dane mix - he's extra large or mini giant, smaller than a dane, bigger than a greyhound. Louie is a phenomenal boy and he deserves a second chance to find his happily ever after. If you are interested in adopting this sweet, giant boy, please complete an adoption application.
