Pit bull terrier

Hi, I'm Roxy! I am a big girl with an even bigger heart. I am four-years-old and I love everything, especially exercise and activities. I like walks and am great on a leash. I can even run for up to five miles and I love hiking (I even have my own backpack!). , I am potty and crate trained. I am house trained and can be taught what rooms are off limits; sometimes I do get a little anxious when my humans are away, so I should be kept in a space if you're gone for extended periods of time. , I have had formal training but I need more training with my new family so we're all happy. I love to play with other dogs and like to play hard...sometimes I forget that I'm not a small puppy anymore and need to be reminded. I am good with children but, just like when I play, I can forget that I'm not a small puppy anymore. I get excited to see you when you get home but I'm being trained to contain some of that excitement. I like chew toys but they don't last very long. I am now enjoying elk antlers and they keep me busy., I would love love LOVE it if I could be adopted with my Bassett sister Sophie - we've been together almost all our lives. But no matter where I go, I will be one happy girl as long as I am loved, exercised and given the consistent structure that every dog needs.
