Candy is the mom of Hershey, Snickers and Peppermaint Patti. One of our volunteers who helps with the homelesss in Phoenix was alerted that a family had moved out of their home in South Phoenix and left behind some dogs. They could hear them crying inside the house. Our volunteer immediately went down to investigate and was able to get into the vacant home.....it was a cold night...once inside she found Candy and her three little pups. Poor babies...Candy was taking care of her pups as best as she could...but she had not had food or water for sometime and she was having difficulty producing enough milk for her pups. Well. our volunteer took them home to her house and nursed them back to health and now they are ready to find their furever homes. Yippee!!!
