Jeanne was found by a Paw Placement volunteer who lives near Phoenix's oldest Park....Encanto Park in downtown Phoenix. It is a beautiful park surrounded by gorgeous vintage homes. It is because of this....many people who no longer want their pets....dump them in Encanto Park. I guess they feel like the nice people who live nearby will help them. It is so unfair to these poor animals. Many are found in poor health or near death. Luckily, Jeanne was found..we think quickly, because she is in good health and a very happy girl.
