Poor "little" Christmas was found wondering the cold streets of Phoenix this last Christmas day. One of our volunteers had stopped to pick up another dog who's owner could not afford to keep him anymore. She had just gotten out of her truck and noticed that her shoe had become untied. She knelt down outside her truck....it was cold outside and when she looked up to see who's warm breath was close by...it was Christmas. I guess she was just so happy to see someone. She was wagging her tail so hard...her whole body wagged., Well, it was obvious...because of the bad part of town that Christmas was found in...that she had been dumped/abandoned/not wanted. So we loaded her up along with the other dog and got them in a warm house with plenty to eat. It was a good Christmas after all for these two little ones., Shortly after we got Christmas her shots and spayed her...she developed mange and so we spent a couple of months getting her over that. This happens to a number of puppies because their immune system has been so compromised from neglect. She is all well now and is just the sweetest puppy! She has alot of energy and loves, loves, loves to play. She is a very submissive dog., Do you want to have Christmas in your home all-year round?
