Sophie has a sad story. Her owners simply didnt care about her. They got tired of having a dog and set her free on the streets of Phoenix. She hadn't had a very good life with these people anyway. They had neglected her and abused her. She was found by her rescuer hiding under a neighbor's water heater. she terrified, starving and her little paw pads were burnt from running on hot pavement., Sohpie gladly accepted the help and kindness of the volunteer who saved her. Despite the hard knocks she has received at the hands of humans, she is not holding any grudges. If anything, she is one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen. She is a wiggle-waggle dog., Her foster mom will be sad when Sophie is adopted because she has grown to really love this special, sweet dog.
