Chihuahua

Chloe was rescued from Animal Care & Cotnrol. She was scheduled for euthanasia because she was scared to death in her kennel. Potential adopters peered in at her as she gazed at them with big, scaredy eyes and tried to hide under her bed. She didn't know these people. She didnt know why she was here. She was scared out of her wits. The potential adopters always walked away, heading towards the kennels full of barking puppies., However, one person stopped by Chloe's door and wouldnt go away. She knelt down and spoke softly to little Chloe. The dog edged towards her with her head down and gently nudged the person's fingers with her nose. Awww maaaaan ... we HAD to rescue her., Chloe is not aggressive but she can be shy around new people. We suspect that she was abused before she came to us. She flinches at sudden movements and sometimes startles at loud noises. But as she become more secure in her foster home, she is growing more confident by the day., Chloe bonds deeply with her humans and will need to go to a quiet home. She thrives on daily cuddling and just loves lap-sitting (its her favorite hobby).
