West Phoenix is a great place to find stray dogs. For whatever reason, many dogs get dumped on that side of town. That's where we found little Chico running around. Although he was scared, he ran right up to a volunteer when she opened her car door and called to him. All efforts to find his owner failed and I can't say we are surprised. Poor Chico was undernourished when we found him., Chico is a great dog ... he enjoys canine company but he doesnt like to share his vittles with other dogs, so anyone interested in adopting him must be prepared to separate him from other dogs when feeding. , Chico is a very loving boy and seeks the lap of a human whenever he has an opportunity.
