There are so many homeless chihuahuas in Arizona. Backyard breeders irresponsibly sell puppies that are unaltered and those who "buy" these dogs, dont seem to be spaying or neutering them. Every summer, chihuahuas flood country shelters and are summarily euthanized because there just arent enough adopters. , Smiley found himself on the euthanasia list because he was one chihuahua of many in the shelter. Can you guess how he got his name? Look at the face! This dog never stops smiling. All he wants out of life is a good time ... and he knows that all good times have a human attached.
