Dalmatian Mix

One of the hardest things for a rescuer to see is a dog, chained outside, in the hot Arizona summer sun, with no shade and little water. Every day, a Paw Placement volunteer drove past a home, where a puppy lay on her side, panting heavily. She was chained and had little room to romp. Noone ever came out into the dirt yard to play with her. , Over time, the rescuer noticed that the puppy was getting thinner and thinner... each day her ribs became more prominent through her dirty coat. Finally, the volunteer couldnt take it anymore. , She asked the owners if they wanted their dog. "Nope," they said. They didnt have enough money to feed "it." And so little Blanca came to Paw Placement. We keep her shiny white and well-fed now. She cannot believe that she receives loving human attention EVERY DAY! In addition to that, she gets to play with other dogs and isnt ever left confined in the hot sun., Blanca is a growing young puppy with a great attitude. Any adopter needs to be prepared for puppy behavior. Blanca is a smart girl and responds quickly and eagerly to structure.
