Miniature American Eskimo Mix

Hello! My name is Snowy. I am 8-years-old which some people say is old. I say "Whatever!" to that. I still have my prance and I love long walks. I am beautifully house-trained and have the best manners anyone could want in a dog. I am polite and I wouldnt harm a fly., All this being said, I don't understand why my humans took me to the pound one day. They asked if I wanted to go for a car ride. Oh boy! Did I ever! Then they took me to a place where the kennels dont have bedding, they handed my leash to a stranger who took me away from my human mom and dad. They never came back to get me. , It's hard to describe how scared I was in this new place. So many dogs were barking and although people walked by my kennel door, they didnt stop for long. I think its because I was shaking so badly and trying to hide in the corner., One day a woman came into see me. She brushed my coat and spoke gently to me. I didn't know her, but she made me feel safe. She took me with her, gave me a bath, and promised that I would never ever be abandoned again., One of the first thing my rescuer noticed was that my previous owners had put a collar on me when I was younger and never loosened it. As such, the collar was embedded into my neck. After surgery to remove it, I feel so much better! Although, I have a little bald spot on the back of my neck, I am still beautiful!
