About Wrigley

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 3648
You know that you have found a special dog when the call goes out statewide to rescue him. Little Wrigley was found wandering the streets of Yuma, AZ. Because the adopter-base is so small in that area of the state, the employees at Yuma Humane Society knew there was slim chance that Wrigley would get adopted. But they couldn't put this sweet, well-behaved little boy down. And so, they sent out an email to rescues all over Arizona begging that someone take Wrigley and find him a good home. We took one look at his sweet face and said, "OK!" Wrigley is as sweet and well-behaved as Yuma said he was. If you would like to meet him, please fill out an online application. HE IS A GREAT DOG!, ***Update from foster Mom***, I am still finding out about Wrigley, but everything I know so far adds up to AWESOME! He was an absolute joy in the car (he fell asleep), knows how to sit, is WONDERFUL on a leash (hoping my 8-year-old Jack Russell can learn something from him in this department!), is quickly learning the ins and outs of the doggy door, and is easily corrected with a snap of the fingers. He is very mild-mannered and sweet, and just wants to curl up next to me and give me love. He is playful, but doesn't yet understand toys - we're working on that!
