Sr. Margaret rescued a dog in Tuba City. Little Socks began hanging around a pen where a resident dog lives. Sr. Margaret noticed this little homeless, hungry dog and began socializing her. Socks responded, enjoying human attention yet remaining wary of strangers. Knowing that the adopter-base in Tuba City is limited, Sr, Margaret sought help with Paw Placement. Socks is a precious creature. Shy, yes - but intelligent and loving. Her ideal home will be a patient one where all humans understand that sometimes it takes dogs time to trust their humans.
