Bentley is a very special boy! He was living in a neighborhood in Parks without a home of his own. When the weather dropped drastically, he tried to seek shelter and warmth when he was caught by a coyote trap under a person's home. Luckily he was found quickly and the homeowner brought him to Westside Vet Clinic, paying for his x-rays and treatment. The good samaritan took Bentley home and tried to take care of him, letting him live on the front porch of his home. Since this was not the ideal scenario for Bentley, he came to PawPlacement to recooperate and find his forever home. , As Bentley's front, left leg had been caught in the trap, he walks with a limp and has some nerve damage in his paw. We are still hoping that he will regain more and more feeling as time goes by but may never be completely "normal." Bentley has a wonderful personality which has helped him come a long way on his recovery. , Bentley is a people cat. He is not very shy and just wants to be loved on. He will greet you at the door, purring and chirping. He is truly a lap kitty and LOVES to crawl up on your chest to give you a big hug. He LOVES to be held and is EXTREMELY affectionate. He is nonaggressive, nondestructive, and is very clean. He is a very typical Maine Coon, large, sweet with a big voice., Bentley will be ready for adoption on 3/14/10 but would love to schedule a time to meet you!
