My name is Buttercup. I am a female Shar-Pei/lab mix and about 2 years old. I would like to have a canine companion in my new home to teach me the ropes and keep me company when my humans are away. Since I have been living with my foster mom, I have learned my name, sit, shake (this is my favorite; I amaze myself with how smart I am!), up, down, how to let my foster mom take me for a walk not the other way around, and house training, which she tells me is the most important part of finding my forever home. I cannot figure out exactly what my foster mom wants by saying "wait" although I am sure I will catch on soon to what she is talking about., I am a larger dog at about 75 lbs I have the body of a lab and the wrinkles and face of a Shar-Pei. I am a sweetheart! If you are looking for large lady to brighten your day, please fill out an application for me., My foster mama volunteers at the Animal Care & Control. Every day she watched as people passed my kennel. I wagged and whined - I wanted to go home so badly. I want someone to love me and call me their dog. But no one stopped. Its not because I am a bad dog - its because my type of beauty is very unique. My foster mama saw this and asked Paw Placement to save me when it was my last day.
