Charm was abandoned outside in the heat. The summers in AZ are brutal enough without having a coat of lustrous black fur to absorb the heat and no claws with which to defend oneself! A woman took her in and now she is with us. Charm had to fend for herself and had a very difficult start so her new parents need to let her acclimate and define her interactions with the family. While she doesnt like to be held, she is a good companion. Getting her purr started is no problem -she is a happy kitty, despite all the troubles she has been through. Come see Charm - she is the luckiest black cat in the world. We think Charm would do best as the only pet, or "Top Cat"! More about CharmGood with Cats
