My name is Gunner and I am an energetic, life of the party 8 year old Doxie. My foster mom doesn't believe I am 8 years old because I want to be wherever the action is and prefer to be running vs. walking. I am not the dominant one in my house, I get along with my foster brother a 1 year old Chihuahua mix. I have a weight problem, but my foster mommy is making sure we get that under control so I can run faster! When your belly touches the ground that is hard to do! I caught pneumonia the first week with my foster mommy, because I was found as a stray and put in this really scary place with cold concrete. Thankfully, I was placed in a home where I get to lay on the couch with a pillow under my head when I am not strutting my new waistline down the street. My favorite person is the little girl that lives with me. My job is to follow her around and hope she drops some of her food. I also love it when she plays with my long ears. She lets me sleep on the bottom bunk at night with her. I would like a family with children, I am a good babysitter! I would like lots of exercise (when it's not 110 outside) and prefer to be an inside dog. I am fully potty trained, so my new family can take me anywhere.
