Unknown breed / mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Senior Purebred Scottish Terrier (Brindle)
PAW PLACEMENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER ADOPTION APPLICATIONS FOR WALLACE TO HOMES THAT ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE SCOTTIE/TERRIER BREED(S)AND ARE COMMITTED TO LOVING THIS STRONG WILLED BUT LOYAL BREED, AND WILLING TO WORK WITH ALL THE ISSUES OF A PUPPY, Wallace (13 wks old)is ready to face anything the world is willing to throw at him! This little boy is the smallest in the litter but do not let that fool you . . ., he is definitely a "Scottie" with a high activity level and a strong dominance streak. Wallace would probley do best in a home with older kids- he is a feisty boy who will not tolerate any humans without impulse control. He would do best in a home without cats because his prey drive kicks him into chase mode. Wallace does like other dogs but should not go to a home where there is another alpha-dog. Wallace likes to rule the school., Wallace is smart but a definitively strong-willed Scottish Terrier. This puppy possesses all the traits of the breed. He is quick to learn and quick to boredom. He shows great confidence, and enjoys activity. This pint-sized tornado will not be happy as a docile family pet. He will need interaction and tasking, typical of the breed. He will thrive with obedience training/and it is highly reccomended and will likely graduate top of his class., Any adopter must be prepared and committed to work through typical puppy behaviors. Terriers are notorious chewers and will need enrichment and yummy Kong toys to see them through this phase. Despite Scotties' small stature they are not lap dogs and do better in active family settings., If you are interested in meeting a Scottie puppy, please google the breed and read about its characteristics to see if the breed is right for your lifestyle., HOW DID A RESCUE GROUP GET PUREBRED PUPPIES? We rescued two Scottie females from a Puppy Mill situation. Both sisters went in for spays but it was discovered that Moira was VERY pregnant. So, voila, just a few weeks later, SCOTTIE PUPPIES!!
