Chihuahua/Corgi mix, tan and white

Hi. I'm Josie and I'm looking for a new family who can spend time with me and make me feel at home. I am a 4 year old Corgi / Chihuahua mix and weigh about 20 lbs. My foster family thinks I am just the right size. I have one blue eye and my whiskers are different colors as well., My ideal home would be where someone is home most of the day and the schedule is regular. I have high energy and need at least two walks per day and I walk really well on a leash. Once I get my walks, I settle down nicely into my doggie bed and or anywhere the warm sunlight shines through. I normally nap at least once during the day and I sleep through the night. It would be especially nice if you have another dog because I love to play and do well with other friendly dogs. I also love children, get along great with cats, and I?m comfortable and safe around free range chickens. , , I am potty trained, but a doggie door is a must. I also really like to travel. Just say "car & hop" and I will jump in your vehicle ready for adventure. I have experience at the beach, camping, and especially love hiking, or wherever my human companions choose to go. I like to feel safe in the car, so I?m a real snuggle buddy, or I prefer to spend my travel time in a cozy crate., I can be a little shy at first in strange surroundings and sudden noises or loud voices put me on edge, but once we get to know each other, I?m all yours. , Let's get acquainted and I'll soon follow you everywhere.
