There are two volunteers who should never be allowed to go into the pound together. These two women are Paw Placement's directors and they always take too many cats. , We went to Animal Care & Control for just one litter of kittens. We have no room for adults right now. When we went to the kennel where the kittens were . . SURPRISE!! There was mama with them. We couldnt leave her behind. As the AC&C employee loaded babies and mama into the crate . . . SURPRISE! Another older kitten was discovered hiding in the litter box. We can only assume that this older kitten is one remaining from mama's last litter., You see, mama and babies were an owner-turn in. A woman carried all of these cats into the pound in a plastic tote, told employees (who see so many animals lost to euthanasia each year) that she never got her cat spayed because she LOVES kittens, but now she is tired of all the cats., Oh, humanity. , So, now little Fiori is with us. She is so beautiful we gave her the Italian name for "Flower." Fiori is a gentle kitty who loves attention. She will make a wonderful addition to any home.
