Corgie/Chihuahua Mix

Little Gus is a sweet, docile fellow. We can tell he hasn't been given much attention in his life because he looks at us as if he cant believe it when we pet him. He will lean into you when you treat him kindly. Gus' rescue story is a typical one. One a day when the pound was full of dogs, Paw Placement could only rescue one. We walked to corridors and saw many scared dogs, shivering and desperately trying to get attention. Little Gus was skin and bones. He didnt jump up on his kennel door when we walked by. He stood up and wagged his tail, he put one paw through the grate and looked at us with the sweetest eyes. A volunteer went to sit with him in the cell. He hesitated only for an instant before sidling into the volunteer's lap. We left many great dogs behind at the pound that day - but we know for sure, that Gus was the dog we were meant to rescue. , Due to his docile nature, and gentle demeanor, we believe that Gus with make a great family friend for those with children old enough to have impulse control. Given Gus' atunement to humans, we know he will learn commands like a champ., Please meet Gus. Paw Placement may have saved him but we need you to finish his rescue story!!!
