Gunsmoke was left at a vet's office after hours in his carrier with a note from his owner who was facing homelessness himself. He wanted to try to give Gunsmoke the best chance to find a safe haven and thought a vet's office was his only hope on short notice. In his note he also said Gunsmoke was shot in his leg as a kitten, but had been bottle fed and kept indoors his entire life when he was found. , Gunsmoke was given a full exam, neutered, tested and vaccinated by the wonderful veterinarian who found him. He still carries a bullet in his leg as a good luck charm and will never need it removed. He was given a clean bill of health and is ready for a new home. Gunsmoke favors one leg, but other than that he gets along great and is a happy kitty! He purred and rolled over for belly rubs the minute he got in our adoption center and flirts with everyone that walks by! , While Gunsmoke loves the wild west, he wants to view it safely from a perch by the window.
