Rockette was abandoned in an apartment complex. Thankfully, a good samaritan was impressed by the sweet nature of this cat and brought her indoors. Rockette is a very gentle, sweet natured little cat. Her coat is very soft and she will flourish in almost any home enviroment where she is loved. Did you know that only 5% of the animals in the United States have one owner after their initial adoption? Isnt that sad? Rockette's story is so common. People bring home an adorable kitten. But when these same people must move, or have a baby, or get married, that cute kitten is no longer desirable as an adult. Instead of responsibly caring for the animal for its lifetime, or finding safe alternate placement, the animal is abandoned. Rockette is lucky because there are people who care that homeless animals need help. There are millions of animals who dont receive that same compassion. So, that said, we want Rockette to go to a home where she will never be abandoned again. She is a precious little life who relies on us for safety. Be her saving grace and bring her home.
