Cairn Terrier Mix
Little Gracie was rescued from Animal Care & Control. Every time someone walked by her kennel she SPRANG to life, wiggling and whining, "Take me home, please!", Once out of her confinement, she could not stop giving everyone around kisses. Gracie can spring from the ground and into your arms in a single leap! True to her breed, she is a bossy little thing. She gets along well with dogs and cats but lets them know she is their superior. Gracie will need her own food dish because she is protective of "her food." We suspect that Gracie was used as a backyard breeder dog. When we rescued her, she was filthy and her belly showed signs that she has had at least one litter in her young life. We also know that Gracie is S-M-A-R-T! It took less than a day for her to be house-trained. If you want a dog who is going to learn tricks, Gracie is your gal! But she is a typical terrier - busy, busy, busy! She will need daily walks and lots of attention. Because she is a smaller dog, we request she go to a home where all humans are old enough to have impulse control. |
