Beagle/Boston Terrier "Buggle"

Ana is one of Paw Placement's newest Puppy Mill Breeder Dog rescue animal. She is our fifth rescue from the puppy mills. Ana is quickly becoming a playful little girl as she is learning to accept comfort and care from humans. She is a small girl with a BIG heart!!! Initially, she was fearful of humans - she had only known cruelty and neglect from them. My, how surprised she looked when we gently stroked her head and gave her yummy treats. She was so wary and shied away from quick moving hands. But we are building her confidence. Ana is currently in foster and working on all aspects of being a regular dog. She has learned the doggy door,and is house-training.Ana has made leaps and bounds the past couple weeks and has now learned to fetch toys and bring them back to your feet, and she loves to snuggle in the bed up close to a warm human body, and LOVES to play with the other dogs, shes full of Puppy Like energy and would do great in a family thats active and loves to play. Ana is the newest "brand" of dog that Pet Stores are billing as purebred - she is called a "Buggle" which is actually a mix between a Beagle and a Boston Terrier. No doubt she is a cutie! Ana loves the company of other dogs and her foster mom jokingly calls her a "TomBoy" dog and we strongly suggest she go to a home where there is at least one canine companion for her to play with She will also flourish is a home where she gets lots of play from her humans,and a yard to run and play, and where children are old enough to have impulse control. And as all Puppy Mill survivors require, a home where she is not left alone all the time, as she needs human socialization, so a home where there is a part time/work at home/retired person would be the BEST home for Ana, and also at least one socialized dog int he home
