A tenant moved and left behind his dog. The landlord began calling rescues. He didnt like dogs and wanted this one GONE. A volunteer went to check out the situation. Poor Sadie sat in her own filth. She had been leashed to a recliner that had become tangled to the chair. The length of her wrapped leash no longer allowed her to reach her food and her water. She sat in desperate need of nourishment, just inches away from the source. The volunteer untangled her. Sadie thumped her tail in thanks as she scarfed food and water. Poor doggie!
