Sweet Verde was named because the volunteers that rescued her were amazed at how green her expressivce eyes were the first time she looked at us. Verde was left behind in an apartment with no food or water and was malnourised and dehydrated when she was found. She spent several days at an emergency vet clinic and is now the picture of health and completely recovered. She is one of the most calm, forgiving kitties we have rescued and we couldn't leave her behind and not give her the chance at life that she fought so hard to hold on to. This kitty deserves to know what it's like to live in a loving home where she will never be scared and have to fend for herself. She promises a lifetime of affection and purrs in return.
