Little Autumn came to us with a litter of kittens. She was at the pound and very scared. Her babies have since been weaned and she has been with us for sooooooooooooooooo long! It is so sad when kittens get adopted quickly and the mama cats stay with us. Everyone wants the babies. But Autumn is a baby at heart. She loves loves loves to play. Until recently, Autumn did not get along well with other cats. However, we have placed her in our Chandler Cat House where she is surrounded by many different felines. At first she was very growly. Her dominant nature would not let her relax. However, time took its toll. While Autumn is still initially hissy with new kitties, once she is familiar with a feline face, she is tolerant of other kitty cats. Autumn has really flourished at the cat house. She LOVES to sit on the window sill and watch the birdies outside. She goes all squinty when you pet her and even headbutts for love. We named her Autumn because her coat has the colors of New England leaves in Fall. She is a truly beautiful little cat. Autumn will do best in a home where all humans are old enough to have impulse control and where there is plenty of sunlight in which to bathe. |
